Elizabeth’s Auctions sells fine books and ephemera at a live auction. Merchandise is mostly 19th & early 20th century, although it is not unusual to have a variety of materials from the 15th to 18th centuries. Merchandise is generally from estates, historical societies, and private collections.
Auction merchandise is catalogued. Catalogues offer reasonably detailed bibliographic descriptions of the auction lots.

Auctions are usually on Mondays at 6:00pm. Preview time is 3:00pm to 6:00pm day of the sale.

Prominent categories of materials sold are rare books, first editions, Americana, science & technology, Civil War, history, local histories, travel & exploration, American literature, illustrated books, children’s books, fine bindings, maps & atlases, postcards, trade cards, photographs, trade catalogues, autographs, documents, archives of letters, posters, early periodicals & newspapers, advertising calendars, sheet music, prints, broadsides, etc. Also movie, sports, circus, and political memorabilia as well as railroad, ocean liner, aviation, and automobile related ephemera.
